Our expertise

Different pests.
Considered solutions.

Explore the signs we look for and the practical first steps behind our work. Every property and infestation is different; an inspection helps shape the right response.

01Property protection

Termite control

Termites can damage wood, flooring and other building materials out of sight. An early, careful inspection helps identify activity and its likely source.

What to look for

Damaged or hollow-sounding timber, affected flooring or wallpaper, and discarded wings after a swarm. Winged termites have two similar pairs of wings; flying ants have a pinched waist and unequal wing pairs.

How we help

Our inspectors look for termite activity and possible entry routes, then recommend a treatment plan suited to the home or business.

A termite swarm or discarded wings can be an early warning.

02Commodities & cargo

Fumigation services

Professional fumigation for businesses working with stored commodities, shipping, warehousing, milling, manufacturing and agriculture.

What to look for

Beetles, weevils, mites or moths in grain, rice, nuts, animal feed and other stored raw materials or cargo.

How we help

Treatment is planned for the commodity and setting, including bag stacks, bulk grain in silos, sealed chambers and gas-tight shipping containers. Our trained technicians coordinate the work to limit disruption.

Treatment scope depends on the commodity and site.

03Food & storage

Stored-product pests

We help identify insects that infest grain, flour, cereals, dried foods, animal feed and other stored products at home or in commercial premises.

What to look for

Small beetles or moths around food storage, damaged grain kernels, pinholes in individual grains, webbing on stored goods, or an unpleasant smell in affected food.

How we help

We identify the likely pest and source. Remove infested food, clean spills and store replacement dry goods in tightly sealed containers to help limit spread.

Weevils, flour beetles and pantry moths need different attention.

04Homes & hospitality

Bed bug control

Bed bugs hide close to where people rest. An inspection that checks beds, furniture, rugs, linens and nearby crevices helps reveal the extent of activity.

What to look for

Small reddish-brown, flattened insects; pale shed skins or eggs near furniture; and recurring bites or suspicious signs around sleeping areas.

How we help

We inspect the affected rooms, focus treatment on likely hiding places and monitor the result. The original service describes follow-up visits where needed and a no-charge re-treatment if bed bugs return within 30 days of service completion.

Bed bug control can take multiple visits.

05Homes & food businesses

Cockroach control

German, American, smokybrown, brown-banded, Oriental and Madagascar hissing cockroaches differ in where they shelter and how they get indoors.

What to look for

A lingering unpleasant odour, small droppings, dark smear marks, shed skins or repeated activity around warm, humid and damp areas.

How we help

Our species-aware approach looks for harbourage, moisture, food and entry routes, then targets the source and plans prevention or follow-up as needed.

Rats & mice

Rodents can contaminate stored food and damage buildings by gnawing. Correctly identifying the species helps determine where and how to inspect.

What to look for

Droppings, gnawing, stains, unusual odours, disturbed food packaging or activity in ceilings, cupboards, storage areas and around burrows.

How we help

We assess signs, likely species, nesting areas and access to food or shelter. For warehouses, protecting stored commodities and checking damage to packaging and wiring are important parts of the assessment.

Mice, roof rats and Norway rats favour different places.

07Homes & food areas

Ant control

A few ants may be scouts. Frequent sightings or trails to food can signal a nearby source or colony.

What to look for

Live ants indoors, repeated pathways and small piles of soil. Some species nest in walls or other quiet, dark places.

How we help

Our technicians consider the ant's habits and activity to recommend a suitable treatment. Clear food spills, store food in sealed containers and close gaps around doors or windows to reduce attractants and access.

Following an ant trail can help locate a food source.

08Homes & outdoor spaces

Mosquito control

Standing water around a property can provide places for mosquitoes to lay eggs. Well-watered lawns and shrubs can also attract them.

What to look for

A high-pitched whine, repeated bites, mosquitoes on ceilings or glass, and standing water in trays, water butts or bowls.

How we help

We look at activity around the property and likely nearby breeding conditions, then advise on practical prevention and an appropriate control plan.

Check containers and trays that collect still water.

09Property & grounds

Snake control

Snakes may pass through gardens or sheltered grounds. Keeping vegetation and hiding places managed can make a property less attractive.

What to look for

Shed skins and winding trails on dusty or sandy ground. Places to check carefully include long grass, wood or rubble piles, shrubs and pond edges.

How we help

If you spot a snake, keep your distance and do not try to catch or handle it. Contact a qualified local wildlife or pest professional for advice.

Most snakes avoid people when given space.

10Homes & businesses

Spider control

Spiders may shelter in dark, quiet places inside or outside buildings. Their webs and preferred hiding areas vary by species.

What to look for

Webs in corners and sheltered spots, or spiders and burrows in damp, secluded areas such as sheds, basements, attics and storage spaces.

How we help

An inspection checks where spiders are appearing and whether other insects are providing a food source. The response can then focus on the relevant hiding areas and conditions.

Other insect activity may attract spiders.

Fly control

A sudden or persistent increase in flies can indicate a nearby food or breeding source. Flies can contaminate food and some species may bite.

What to look for

Regular sightings around food or bins, small dark pinhead-sized spots, or maggots that may indicate a breeding site.

How we help

We identify the fly and locate potential breeding environments. Targeted treatment, source removal, practical prevention and follow-up surveys can help reduce repeat activity.

Finding the breeding source is key to lasting control.

12Homes & pets

Flea control

Cat and dog fleas can cause discomfort for pets and people. Eggs may fall from pets and become difficult to spot in carpets or bedding.

What to look for

Pets scratching or biting their coat, small reddish-brown fleas around the animal, or fine black specks ('flea dirt') on fur, rugs or pet bedding.

How we help

We inspect likely pet resting places and affected rooms, and recommend a suitable treatment and prevention plan. Ask your vet about your pet's health or treatment.

Flea eggs can be hard to see in carpets and bedding.
